Just because they're simple and barely noticeable it doesn't necessarily mean t! hat they don't work. These are the basics of click through rate (CTR) improvement thus it is something every beginner should learn. Shall we begin?
- Use your keyword in your headline. This is the simplest thing of all and yet many seem to overlook it. For those who are working with a rather large keyword list, doing this might be a bit difficult but there is a way for you to be able to achieve this. All you have to do is create a number of ad groups and simply place a dominant keyword in each. Doing this is important because a user that's searching for your keyword or headline would be able to find you easily in Google. It would also increase your relevancy thus decreasing your costs and subsequently improving your click through rate (CTR).
- Use your keyword in your description. This is another very simpl! e step yet totally overlooked by most. However, it is one step! that is very important if you want to have a good CTR. You would have to use your keyword once in the body of your advertisement because just like in the previous tip, users would be able to find your ad easily thus increasing your relevance and your click through rate (CTR).
- Test your ads over and over again until you get it right. This is one step that you must never disregard because frankly, you wouldn't want to put an ad out there that's faulty and is a complete waste of money. So run multiple ads and check your results. Tweak until you're content because even the smallest things and changes can contribute to how well or how bad your ads would work. Keep in mind that there would always be room for improvement especially when it comes to generating a better CTR.
There are all sorts of things that you can do t! o improve your ads and subsequently your CTR. If you are on a budget then these changes would be the very thing that you need as they can also reduce the costs of running your ads. After all, it is not cheap to have those ads up and if one of them isn't working as well as the others then why keep on wasting money with it? Wouldn't you rather have a few ads that actually deliver instead of having numerous ones that don't really work as well as they should? Prioritize and you'll definitely get better results.
